A big success of ASDENCA workshop

ASDENCA 2014 – International Workshop on Advances in Services DEsign based on the Notion of CApabiliy initiated and organized by the CaaS members, has gathered the highest number of submissions of all the workshops at 27th International Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering (CAiSE 2014) in Thessaloniki, Greece, 16-20 June. 4 accepted papers are written by the CaaS members:

• Capability-based Business Model Transformation: Martin Henkel, Ilia Bider and Erik Perjons.
• Capability-driven development of a SOA platform: a case study; Sergio España, Tania González, Jānis Grabis, Lauma Jokste, Raúl Juanes and Francisco Valverde.
• On the Applicability of Concepts from Variability Modelling in Capability Modelling: Experiences from a Case in Business Process Outsourcing: Kurt Sandkuhl and Hasan Koc
• An Outlook on Patterns as an Aid for Business and IT Alignment with Capabilities: Janis Stirna and Kurt Sandkuhl.

The workshop will be opened by a keynote session  “Designing Business Capabilities: Challenges and Outlooks”: Janis Stirna, Jelena Zdravkovic, Oscar Pastor and Pericle Loucopoulos
